Course Overview About Course

This course introduces students to Paul’s letters and to philosophical voices that shaped moral reasoning in the first-century Mediterranean world. Through lecture, discussion, guided reading, and short writing assignments, we will practice interpreting ancient texts in context, comparing arguments across traditions, and supporting claims with evidence.
